Deb has had a life-long passion for explorations of Spirit and for the deeper meanings of our personal relationships. She has studied Conscious Relationship and sexuality with leading teachers in that field: John and Jennifer Welwood, Terry Real, Robert and Judith Gass, to name a few. In 2005 Deb completed four years of shamanic training with Evelyn Rysdyk and Allie Knowlton of Spirit Passages. She has also trained with Bhola Banstola in the States and in Nepal. Deb is a Registered Counselor, a Certified Shamanic Practitioner, and a Reiki Master. She has synthesized her diverse training, which includes Matrix Energetics, into a model that invokes the client’s reunion with his/her spiritual and emotional well-being and power and that enhances deeper levels of intimacy.
Helping her clients heal past trauma, such as childhood abuse, is an important aspect of Deb’s work. Another focus is breaking ingrained patterns that may have worked as effective survival tools in the past but are now keeping her clients from fully living and relating to their partners emotionally and sexually. For individual and couples clients, Deb gives practical guidance that they can use daily for themselves and with their loved ones to aid in their healing deeply and quickly. Deb is known for her ability to find the core issues, her presence, her humor, and her intuition. She welcomes clients of all orientations including transgender.
Deb’s published work includes a personal story in the 2009 book, A Cup of Comfort for Adoptive Families. The mother of two sons, she treasures her family time and passionately enjoys tending her gardens, snowshoeing, reading, and travel.
